- I graduated from Colorado Institute of Art in Denver with a degree in advertising design at the age of 19. After working as an ad design artist in a St. Louis advertising firm, I decided to become a Spanish teacher. In 1996, I graduated cum laude from Arkansas State University with a BSE in Spanish. I've been part of the Bloomfield R-14 schools and community for the past 12 years and wouldn't trade it for anything!
